Wednesday Night Wind Down
Our weekly Wind Down time together is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights. During the school year Wind Down has experienced a makeover as the traditional activities continue but senior youth also have the option to be involved in a visible leadership role with the Confirmation Ministry format as musicians, skit leaders, and junior guides. Some weeks Wind Down will include Confirmation and some weeks it will not depending upon the monthly schedule. Youth are not required to assist with the first 60 minutes of Confirmation and can still head down to the youth room.

Wednesday Night Wind Down at 6:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m. during Advent and Lent
The Wind Down schedule for coming month is as follows:
August 4 Wind Down – We will start in the Life Center with some large group activities, have devotions in the Youth Room, and then get active again.
August 11 Wind Down 6:30 p.m. at Heartland Public Shooting Park. We will be shooting on the trap range and have group of adult shooters from the church that will assist us. The cost to shoot one round is $3.75 (18 and under) or $5.25 (19 and older) for those for the targets and $6 for the ammunition. Everyone will get a chance to shoot at least one round, if you want to shoot more than one round, bring additional funds. You can bring your own firearm and ammunition or use one of the firearms provided. All participants need ear and eye protection.
August 18 Wind Down 6:30 p.m. at George Park. Bring your ball glove and Carl will bring the bats, balls, and drinks for a softball game. We will pick teams when you get there.
August 25 Wind Down 6:30 p.m. at Peace. This is the first night of Confirmation for the year. The first hour you will have the choice of assisting with the Confirmation Ministry or heading to the youth room. The last hour, Carl will break off from Confirmation and lead the group in devotions and other activities. If you are helping lead music, please come at 6 p.m. to run through the songs.
