A Cookbook to Support Our Youth
Peace Senior Teens is preparing a taste-tempting cookbook featuring favorite recipes from members of our faith community. Our cookbook will be beautifully illustrated and bound and is sure to be treasured for years. the book is currently at the printer and will contain almost 400 recipes. Cost for the cookbook is $10 a copy. We hope to have the books back from the printer by Easter.We would like everyone who is willing to submit 3, 4 or more of your favorite recipes so you can be represented in our memorable collection. This is a great way to get all those recipes you have been collecting on scraps of paper consolidated in wonderful keepsake.
We anticipate a great demand for our cookbooks. You can reserve one or more copies for yourself and your family at this time to be assured of receiving them by giving a preorder number to Carl via email (

Flamingos Are Ready to Flock for You When They Return in APRIL!!!
Get ready for a new venture—Flamingos. Peace Senior Teens are the proud 
owner of several dozen lovely lawn ornaments and the youth will accept donations by members, family, and friends to have the yard of a special someone FLAMINGOED by a group of YFIEs (Youth Flamingo Installation Experts). The birds will stay overnight to be enjoyed and then a crew of YFIEs will return and remove the pink beauties so they can flock to their next destination.
Donations ($20-25 suggested) will accepted for avian replica events and people can also purchase Pink Cross-Pink Shield Insurance to keep the statuettes off their property. The Flamingo Fund Raiser will take place in April to June to help fund attendance at the National Youth Gathering in July 2010 and future youth ministry needs. Delivery information and Insurance will be available between services on Sunday morning or through Carl in the church office (384-5673) Be sure to let your friends and family know that they can hire our special visitors in the near future to add the special touch to a neighbor’s yard.
