Men's Events:

Man Feast:
The annual Man Feast event was inspired by the Holy Spirit through the book “No Man Left Behind” by Patrick Morley.

The initial Man Feast event occurred on June 24, 2007, as a toast to retiring Pastor William Voelker for his 23 years of service to the Lord and Peace Lutheran. The event, which was held in the Life Center, was attended by 150 men and was an evening filled with laughter and tears.

Man Feast 2 was held on April 6, 2008 at Heartland Lutheran High School. Ron Brown, Husker football coach, was the guest speaker to the event attended by 310 men from all over the area.

Man Feast 3 was held on April 5, 2009 at Heartland Lutheran High School.  Comedian David Dean was the guest speaker, which was attended by over 300 men from the surrounding area.

Car Care Day
The 1st annual Peace Lutheran Car Care Day was held on May 17th 2008. We asked members of the congregation to refer individuals and families who may be in need of an oil change and/or car inspection. We specifically targeted the elderly, widows, single heads of household and hurting families. We filled out a checklist of other vehicle needs and made recommendations if necessary. If you would like to supply donations or help with this event in any way contact Mike Nelson (750-0469), Darrin Rathman (390-1604), John Haynes (382-6200) or Greg Shaner (389-4861).
