Children's Ministry:
Every child is valuable to us!
Through our Children's Ministry at Peace we strive to show your child the love Jesus Christ has for him/her. Building upon our Baptism into God's family, our goal is to deepen your child's faith relationship with Jesus Christ. We want all of our children to know Jesus as their best Friend, and be excited to walk with Him day by day. Sunday School:
Our primary Children's Ministry is our weekly Sunday School program, geared for children ages two through 8th grade. Through lessons, music, and crafts, we seek to teach children Bible characters and stories. We strive to explain Biblical truths and help the children apply them to relationships in their own lives.
Wednesday Night Classes:
An additional ministry for children here at Peace is Pray and Play offered on Wednesday nights. This is aimed at 3rd/4th graders to nurture Christian relationships as children play and pray together. Every part of our Children's Ministry takes place within a safe environment of unconditional love and acceptance.
5th Grade Pre-Confirmation class is required for all Public School Students as a pre-requisite to Head2Heart Confirmation Classes which is for all 6th-8th graders.
These classes meet on Wedensday Nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m. from September-April. There are no classes during Advent and Lent so that families can attend worship together from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Vacation Bible School
Always held the first full week of June after Memorial Day. For children age four thru those in 5th grade completed.
